George Michael Was James Corden’s First Guest For Carpool Karaoke, Heartwarming

The late George Michael who recently passed away was the inspiration for James Corden’s carpool karaoke. The first unofficial carpool karaoke took place on BBC’s charity event Comic Relief, where James Corden and the charming George Michael did a comedy sketch. Due to the popularity of the sketch, carpool karaoke become a segment on The Late Late Show with James Corden and has since become popular worldwide.

George Michael passed away on December 25, 2016, and was surrounded by his family at his home.
