This amazing acappella was unintentional, how it came about is a funny story. Back in 1981, David Bowie and Freddie Mercury met up in a recording studio in Switzerland. They were there to play around with some lyrics and vocals for “Cool Cat”. After a while, both of them got tired and bored and came up with an idea to come up with a new song since they were with each other. Mark Blake who wrote Freddie’s biography went on to say that both of them spent an entire 24 hours drinking wine and snorting cocaine and finally came up with this masterpiece. Music is surely not the same as it used to be.
