Elephant Given A Second Chance After She Lost Her Leg In A Landmine Explosion

Mosha, a nine-year-old elephant, lost one of her legs as it was blasted off by a landmine explosion. Mosha was given a second chance in life as she received a new prosthetic leg in Lampang, Thailand. MaeYao National Reserve has dedicated their time and effort to open up the first elephant hospital in the world and has opened its doors to all elephants. We admire the people who work at these kinds of hospitals, and what these guys do is amazing. As Mosha grows up, she has to be fitted with a new prosthetic leg each time as she grows. Her first prosthetic leg was fitted when she was only seven-months-old.

Thailand: Mosha, the three-legged elephant, just got a new leg!
