Elvis Presley has left this earth but his music still intimidates singers of today. Elvis’s hit single ‘Return To Sender’ was recorded in 1962, he had the help of his two friends Winfield Scott and Otis Blackwell who wrote the song for him. The iconic song is about a man mailing a letter to his girlfriend after the pair have had an argument. The girlfriend keeps on returning the letters by writing ‘return to sender’ on the back of the letters. The letters get returned with a different reason each time, such as ‘wrong address’, ‘no such person’, but in an attempt to keep his relationship alive he keeps trying.
