Most people class depression as a form of weakness or personality trait, which is completely wrong. Depression is something that you can not just choose and thats where most people get it wrong and advice others incorrectly. Depression can make individuals feel negative, empty or even nothing at all, its the most frustrating and helpless experiences ever because its not something that will just last you a few hours or even a day. Most people would say something along the lines of… “it’s nothing, it is all in your head you need to get out more and forget about it”. But this is the wrong piece of advice to give to someone with depression; so if you think you may know someone who is suffering from these symptoms then help them by researching what you can do for them to overcome it sooner and with ease.
