Man Molested Little Girl Could Be Set Free, After Claiming He Is Mentally Challenged

A judge has found Juan Gonzalez, 22, not competent to stand trial for the rape of a 6-year-old girl at Albuquerque. His attorneys are arguing that he is so mentally challenged that the charges should be completely dropped. Gonzalez is no stranger to a courtroom, as he was brought to court for raping a random girl at Midtown sports. Gonzalez was set to face up to 36 years in prison but his defense filed a motion of mental retardation. Claiming that Gonzalez is mentally retarded and that motion could clear him from all charges completely.
